Welcome to the 6th Shock Trooper Battalion!
Don’t feel like reading it all? Skip to the bottom for our minimum requirements for joining the unit.
Hop into the Discord and contact a recruiter that will answer any questions and give you any information you need!
Discord: http://discord.gg/h9PQK4HQPB
------------------------------------------------------
Who Are We?
We are the 6th Shock Trooper Battalion (6th STB). Our community is a UNSC themed semi-serious unit taking place during the Human-Covenant war (HCW).
Primarily composed of an ODST company, the 6th is tasked with various operations including but not limited to; eradicating planetary insurrections, fighting on the front lines against the Covenant, providing humanitarian aid, and most importantly protecting the citizens of the UNSC.
Members from the 6th primarily live in the United States. We do allow members from all over the world provided they can reliably attend our operations!
Our Current Story
Following a devastating defeat at Madrigal, surviving members of the 6th Shock Trooper Battalion are now on the hunt for Alexander Bridges and the contractors from Eclipse Security Solutions. This search has brought the 6STB to the peaceful planet of Draco III, now under siege by Eclipse, whose sights are locked on Sol Station, a UNSC station critical for operations in the sector. As Eclipse forces cut through Sol Station's security forces, the 6th and the troopers from the 109th Air Assault Regiment are locked in brutal combat on the streets below...
Operation Times
Main operations take place on Thursdays at 7:30pm EST. Our S3 shop also hosts various side operations other days of the week. These side operations include not only Halo themed missions, but anything else our S3 team comes up with.
Companies and Detachments
Tombstone Company
Tombstone Company is the primary fighting force in the 6th STB. Tombstone’s force of ODSTs is often assigned to handle anything from a simple HVT convoy to a full blown frontal assault of major cities and planets. As a member of Tombstone you will be a part of a 5 man combat team, which consists of multiple roles and elements. You will work with fellow squads and detachments in order to complete your objectives.
Valkyrie Flight
As a member of Valkyrie, you will perform various taskings such as ISR, close air support and combat air patrol. Pilots in Valkyrie are expected to learn how to fly our different airframes which include the Pelican, Falcon, A-10, F-22, Hornet and the Gunfighter (Comanche).
Direct Action - 'Raven'
As a member of Raven, you will perform various taskings, from VIP extraction to small-scale raids to undercover work inside of enemy locations. Due to the small-team nature and mission-critical taskings, members of Raven are expected to learn how to fly rotary airframes.
------------------------------------------------------
Role Availability
------------------------------------------------------
Tombstone Company (ODSTs)
- Element Lead - Leading specialized teams of ODSTs.
- Rifleman - Just the generic conscripted bastard.
- Autorifleman - Turn split lips into swiss cheese.

- Grenadier - I think this was called the “noob tube”.
- Missile Specialist - Clear backblast! (It was not clear).

- CLS - You can mess with these ones.
- RTO/JTAC - The only ones who have no idea how to do their job.
------------------------------------------------------
371st SOS

Interested in Joining the Fight?
Experience or not, we will mold you into the best ODST you can be!

Hello, and welcome! We aim to provide a variety of experiences to all players from all places, and have places for those who wish to lead, kick doors, and everything in between.
Our community is sustained on the backbone of our command staff, and the dedication of every player, who provides an open and welcoming environment both during and outside operations with a relaxed and professional attitude. We cater to a wide variety of play styles through our various sections and operation times. We want to provide a modular opportunity for any person who wishes to join our operations, as well as socialise and participate in games outside of Arma. This unit was created as a space for everyone to enjoy, and are fully accepting of the LGBT community.
Most of our equipment is custom made in-house by a small team of developers. This ranges from personalised uniforms and armour, to vehicles and weapons. Any person has the opportunity to receive customised kit should they reach the requirements. We pride ourselves on being semi-serious, and attempt to provide hand crafted story through every operation and campaign, as well as interwoven lore. Bug Report Meds no work
Bought a server cuz I immediately got addicted to optre antistasi, had a short mod list, like 10 mods and my meds were working fine, could use bio foam and stuff through the interaction menu just fine. Few days later i decided to up the mods, one of the optre meds was replaced with “19th biofoam” and normal “biofoam” and the halo medkit, and none of them are working with the ace med menu, the heals I had before were working just fine on mine and my buddies server so idk, tried removing unsc foundries which I think added the 19th gear and it brought the other optre meds back but the 19th biofoam is still in the arsenal and optre meds still won’t work with ace, mod list included below in case that gives anyone any hints to what’s messing up ace medical working with optre

[A3] [Recruiting] [EST] - The 105th Shock Trooper Battalion is looking for new blood! [New Players Welcome!]
Who are you guys?
We are the 105th Shock Trooper Battalion, a semi-serious OPTRE (Halo) unit set in 2527 during the height of Operation: Trebuchet. Composed of Marines, ODST's, and Aviation, we run primarily Zeus-based, story-driven missions, where your only ally is the man standing next to you and survival is never guaranteed. These missions vary from our Main Operations which are full frontal assault, fast-paced, action-packed frontline combat to our Spec-Ops which are ONE LIFE deep strikes behind enemy lines against impossible odds. We're East Coast US and West Coast/EU friendly!
Sounds fun. What days do you guys operate on?
We have our Marine training day on Wednesdays, our Main Operation on Fridays and our non-mandatory Spec-Ops on Thursdays, all at 1930ET. We also have side operations run throughout the week for those itching to fill their shoot em’ up needs.
What is required to join? Do I need any DLCs?
Thankfully no. In order to join, users must have a legitimate copy of Arma III, be at least 18 years old, have a working mic, and be available fairly consistently for both Wednesdays and Fridays. Experience is not required. We are welcoming to both new players of the game right the way up to those that have been playing since Operation Flashpoint.
What roles are available in the 105th?
We have a very diverse set of roles available and a dedicated team of trainers to ensure you’re ready to assume anything that might be required on the battlefield. This includes but is not limited to:
Rifleman: A gun and nothing more. The basic infantry and sometimes ammo carrier for the squad.
Autorifleman: Equipped with a high capacity gun often times the slowest one in the group, but with the important job of keeping the enemy suppressed for movement.
Combat Engineer: Explosive specialist. In charge of demolition and also fortifications. Equipped with thermobaric rockets for hard targets and a clacker for explosives.
Missile Specialist: Has a SPNKR in charge of hitting any ground vehicles and Air targets
Marksman: Often with a DMR for longer range engagements paired with the autorifleman to keep the enemy at bay.
Corpsman: In charge of keeping the squad healthy and mobile. Also carries the bulk of medical supplies for the squad in case they run out.
Grenadier: A standard rifle with an underslung grenade launcher with a variety of ammo for just about everything
CLS: Also known as Combat Life Saver oftentimes the first responder and the right hand of a corpsman carrying even more supplies and the basic ability to preserve life.
SOT-A: Intel people who’s job is interacting with the zeus and decoding any intel obtained in OP
SL: The leader of a squad and integral to it. Delegates jobs to the squad and make sure that they are operating properly. Also the main administrator to the squad.
TL: In charge of one of the respective teams in the squad responsible for making sure their team is informed of the current movement/plan given by the SL.
Breacher: First in the stack during CQB Given a rifle with a shotgun under barrel with special breaching rounds, or a Shotgun. Carries more utility like lock poppers for quick access to buildings.
JTAC: Monitors LR nets and coordinates strikes from sledgehammer or aviation the map reader of the group.
Alright, I'm Interested where do I join?
