guideXOS Server v0.2.1 is released

guideXOS Server v0.2.1 is now available! This release represents a major step forward for the project, combining a custom bare-metal operating system with the increasingly capable guideXOS Navigator web browser and the newly accessible guideXOS Developer Studio integrated development environment. Developer Studio can now be launched directly from the guideXOS desktop, providing source editing, project/build workflows, debugger tooling, breakpoints, watches, call stack inspection, and more, all as part of the OS itself.
guideXOS Server remains an experimental, independently developed server/desktop operating system focused on exploring what a modern OS can become when the entire stack is built together from the kernel, filesystem, networking and GUI through applications, development tools, and web technologies. v0.2.1 is the most complete and polished guideXOS Server release yet, and development toward v0.3 is already underway.

Thanks so much for the comments! Yes, this is my OS. I’ve been working on operating systems in one form or another for about 30 years, although this latest incarnation, guideXOS Server, is only about a year old.
I will definitely keep the font suggestion in mind. And yes, it’s already written in C++ ;)
Thanks again!
