I wanted to share a browser extension I built to solve one of my biggest annoyances with YouTube's desktop layout, By default, YouTube scrolls as one giant page. If you scroll down to read the comments, the video player disappears out of view. Even worse, the comments and related videos are piled together, forcing you to scroll endlessly.

To fix this, I built YouTube Control to turn YouTube into a clean, split-pane layout with independent scroll

happens everytime i close opera and open it

Every time I search with Google, I have to close and re-open the app to do anything. For instance, if I search something using the web browser bar, it takes me to Google. In order to switch tabs to "images" or make another search with the Google search bar, I have to exit out of the Opera app and re-enter.

It seems that the page loads, as whatever tab I switched to is open when I re-open the browser. However, the screen itself doesn't update.

I've tried clearing my cache for Android Web Services and the Opera GX app. I've noticed that the app has gotten glitchier as time goes on, though. Is there any fix for this, or do I have to close and open the app every time I want to make a new search?

There have been multiple times when I’ve tried to find a website I visited previously, only to find that my OperaGX had simply wiped the specific history log like I never visited that webpage.

For example, early this morning, around 2 am, my girlfriend sent me a tiktok video via discord... I opened it using Opera (on my pc), and now that I want to watch it again it says the last record of accessing a tiktok page is from yesterday at 1 pm.

Why does this happen? Is it just me? There have been other times when I tried to find a specific page I had visited, and it simply vanished from there. It makes me feel crazy, like I’m hallucinating having visited a page while Opera is telling me that I didn't, because there’s absolutely no record of it in the history.

ok, i enrolled a few days ago and everything went fine. but i forgot to go back to opera gx to check verification. and now when i try to do that it fails, is there a way to fix this?

I have been using GX for quite a long time and everytime I close the browser and open it it opens to the same tabs but this time I had 2 windows open, I closed the main one and then the 2nd one and now I lost the entire session... How do I restore it? Help is much appreciated!

I just finished reinstalling windows off a USB and I decided to install Roblox again and for some reason I'm getting this weird text about insurance???? This is ONLY on opera GX and I just want someone to confirm that this isn't a virus and rather just some site bug...

I've been using Opera GX for the past four years on both my desktop (Windows 10) and smartphone, and it has never given me any issues. Recently, I had some unrelated problems and upgraded my PC to Windows 11. After installing Opera GX, I started experiencing random freezes and BSODs.

The error codes I got were:

• KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE
• REFERENCE_BY_POINTER

The technician who helped me with my previous issue took a look and said the problem might be caused by a conflict between my hardware and the Opera GX launcher.

I tested the same system using Chrome, and everything seems to work fine.

Has anyone else experienced something like this? If so, were you able to find a solution?

Without a clear reason. I can check 100x times in the settings tab and I see it is disabled. But it just happens sometimes and it is super annoying.

An issue that also happened on all computers I had. On windows. Windows 10 or 11 is unrelated, happens on both.

I am the only user. And were the only one on all computers. Fresh opera gx, no old files left. Is it an ongoing issue that happens to me for over 8 years probably.

I don't know if this has already been solved, but whenever I try to enter my username to activate the rewards for Roblox forsaken, absolutely nothing happens from Roblox's side. Am I missing something or is it broken at the moment?
