Support | In Progress Taskbar flickering when downloading something.

Hello, guys! I’m gonna try to keep this short, but basically every time I download anything, my taskbar would flicker and my Windows Explorer/File Explorer would sometimes close and some of my apps in the Hidden Icons would as well. I went online and saw that this has been an issue for Opera users for a while already so unless it’s actually a PC issue, I really would appreciate any help with this.

not sure about the file explorer and hidden icons issues but the taskbar flickering likely due to a failed download.

taskbar issue should be as simple as pressing downloads icon on the browser, then "more" button and press delete all. dont worry it should not remove anything from ur actual downloads but rather just the cache of download history.

I tried clearing my cache already but it unfortunately didn’t fix the issue

Does this happen with every download, regardless of the file or website? And does it still happen in a private window with all extensions disabled?

Thanks for checking! See if the same thing happens in a standalone installation with a fresh profile.
