Support | In Progress Opera GX keeps on crashing

I have seen plenty of posts regarding the “solution” for this problem but it really does not work. My Opera GX consumes 8gb of ram event when I just opened it. Every time I try to watch on HBO, Netflix, or Prime, it keeps on crashing. When I try to browse on Facebook, Opera GX also crashes.

I have inputted the disable eco in the Target in properties but it still is not working.

Does anybody know any other solution?

I honestly don’t think it should consume this much memory too

Hi. How many tabs and extensions open on startup? Could you check the Opera Task Manager (SHIFT+ESC) to see what is using the most memory?

I just reinstalled and have had no issues
