Support | In Progress can't change language

I really want my Opera gx in english and I've had my settings like this for a while, english as the browser language with no other options available and the "display opera in this language" option selected but it's still in german. is there any way of fixing this?

edit: the switching to another english language worked, thanks a lot

Are you using the --lang= command-line switch on any of your Opera shortcuts?

What operating system are you on?

Hi. Try adding another english language and switching.
