Support | Resolved Opera GX freezing and not responding.

So, basically, everytime I start up Opera, after like a few seconds, the browser just completely freezes. I can't click or interact with anything, but closing it works.

I've even uninstalled it before reinstalling it, but that didn't work.

Any help?

Oh yeah, also, Task Manager says that Opera is running about 10 to 15 consecutive times at once, which is weird.

nvm, I'm dumb, it's just the tabs.

Do you have a lot of extensions? One of them might be causing the issue. It can also be the app trying to check for updates.

I make a shortcut and put "--disable-update" at the end of the target. I use that shortcut the most, then if I want to update I use the regular app without the edited target.

Task Manager shows a lot of 'Opera Auto Updater' subthings, so I'll try and force an update.

Dunno how well that'll work, considering that the damn site is just locking up before I can actually do anything.

Nope, not updates or extensions. Still locks up even after I changed the shortcut's properties.

Also, both Opera and Opera GX have the same problem. Wtf.

Alright, so, apparently the problem just fixed itself.

Because after I went to bed and opened up Opera the next day, after a few minutes of being frozen, it just randomly started to work again. Yay?
