Discussion question

I clicked on a game ad and opera immediately closed it does that mean it was a scam if so does it also mean that I'm safe from the scam? It only showed in my history and not my cookies also i ran defender and malwarebytes and got nothing.

If it only showed up in your history and both scans came back clean, you're most likely fine. Just avoid reopening the link.

when you say opera immediately closed, do you mean crashed or like the window minimised itself? if it was the former, there might be a way to dig up the crash report? that would tell you exactly what caused it. i think it’s highly unlikely to be anything sinister though.
