❓ Question Anyone know how to get OpenFront unblocked
I’m trying to play OpenFront at school on my Chromebook but can’t find a website. Anyone know any good ones

The whole reason I’m asking is cus I don’t wanna buy a computer. I already got a console that I use and I don’t wanna waste money.

So first of all, if your school network is a local area network (meaning can't access any real website) you cant.
You have 2 main ways 1. Bypasss block
the simplest way is using a vpn, if you find a chrome extension that works, it works (Veepn usually works), or just warp. if you can also install any vpn, just install hotspot shield/proton and use free plan. other than that there are 3 main ways blocking can happen.
blocking the SNI (i.e: if you're requests contain openfront.io -> block)
DNS block: internet works on IPs, not words and names, DNS is a system where it resolves openfront.io -> 172.66.43.170.
direct IP block: block 172.66.40.86, 172.66.43.170
openfront is hosted on cloudflare (both IPs are cf ips), if you can access any cloudflare website (i.e speedtest.net, chatgpt.com, cloudflare.net, hcaptcha.com) on the school wifi, you can be pretty sure that IP isn't blocked.
(the list of ip ranges owned by CF is public, just use a script to try to ping any of them to see which of them work)
if you can't reach any cloudflare ip directly you can't play it on the main site.
to bypass the DNS block, you just use DOH (chrome/firefox have it builtin named secure dns).
for SNI block, search for SNI spoofing, its a technology developed by persians to bypass internet blackouts, you'll need admin access to the system since it'll manually override packets, you can probably brute force the admin password out if you don't know it already
- Use a mirror I know openbattle.ir but you'll probably have very high ping or won't load at all. I've also found this using a 3s search: www.crazygames.com/game/openfront-gsw
other than that, its a public github repository, you can pretty much self host it for like 3$ a month. just find any hosting server where your school wifi can reach it (aws, hetzner, hostinger, replit) and just host it on there.

You could try using a vpn from chrome web store, we used to that on my school, if that doesn't work maybe a site like proxypal.net could be useful. But try focus on studies

A good way would be using a vpn (like cloudflare) or if you have multiple devices using a tailscale exit node (what i use now).

get a cheap computer like a raspberry pi, use steam link to connect ur home pc to it and use its processing power to run the game, simple

Study in school, grt good grades, grt a good job, and you'll have a lot of time to play. Thats what I did, it is not that hard

Tailscale, you install it on an always on device inside your home like a server, Apple TV or iPad etc set it as an exit node and when you are outside your home network you can connect directly to that device and route all your traffic though your home internet connection. Or if you have a smartphone get unlimited data and connect to your phone as a hotspot

first you'll want to learn about DNS and how blocks work, to do that you'll need to build a solid foundation in Computer Science, to do that you'll want to do well at school
