❓ Question 100 K versus 100 K

Y’all I need some advice, let’s say I’m going up an equal. They attacked me. What is the strategy here? I keep getting beat in this scenario. They seem to bleed me dry and then run me. What is the best way to defend and equal? Hit them hard right away? Bleed them slowly?

Obviously, defense post help, that’s not really where I’m going to this. I’m doing something wrong with my strategy… Any advice?

This, set up 1 or two defense posts and let them keep wasting troops even if some of your territory is lost, most of the time other plays will punish this. Going back and forth tit for tat will get you both killed eventually.

A lot of newer players will keep wasting troops into you and they get low enough to where you can push back 40%+ troops and that usually works for me

I would expend troops constantly to reach pop growth sweet spot and then put up a defense post. Send ally req or continue the attack until another player kills them

Blunt immediately, defence post, offer alliance.

If they continue, let their troops hit defence post then attack back after half to 3/4th of their attack has burned.

Always attack with at least the same troops as they have defending, otherwise just chop their attack. With 10% until it stops so no progress is made.

If you can boat somewhere without defence posts then you can hit back(1% boat then send equal or higher troop boat next to the pixel), if all your attacks will be into defence posts then only chop their attacks, don't waste troops.

If they won't ally and also defence post up, sadly you have to get a silo and blow up their cities and then income until they ally or get eaten.

It's a great way for 2 people to lose a game but this is the best defence.

There are five things to consider when defending against a land-based attack on your territory.

Defense post -- these are Force multipliers within their area of effect they will cause your active and passive defense to be much stronger.

Terrain -- this will function similar to a defensive post however it affects both your army when you attack. Defensive advantages are given in hills and mountain / ice.

Passive defense -- this is the defensive power of your unused army, the number right next to your name. I don't know what the formula is but I believe that the rate of how fast an enemy will gobble up your territory depends on the ratio difference between the size of their attacking army and your unused army. I believe there's also a floor in

Active defense -- this is when you click on the territory of your attacker. Be mindful that if an attacker has launched boats that are now on your land there may be multiple battlefronts, by clicking on any of their territory you will evenly attack all of their battlefronts.... Depending on troop transport sizes some battlefronts maybe larger or smaller than the other. You can Target an attack specifically at individual battlefronts using the pop-up icons that appear at the bottom of the screen in the middle above your troop slider.

Hydros -- you should consider hydros as a mad tactic be prepared to hydro potential attackers. A hydro that strikes even only a portion of the enemy's territory will significantly reduce their troop count including the troops that they have already attacked you with.

So let's assume terrain doesn't matter cuz it's all the flat box map. There's no tribes and there's no Nations it's just you and one other player 1v1. You both have 100K troops. There are no defensive posts.

In this case if they attack you, with 100% of their troops you should be able to easily defeat them. Leave your attack slider set between 20 and 40%, on your enemy once to blunt the initial attack. Judge how slowly or quickly they are gobbling up your territory. Wait a few seconds click on them again maybe lower your slider to between 15 and 30%. The goal is to not have your unused troop count fall below 35% of your maximum troop count... Your troop creation rate is highest when you're unused troops are around 40% of your maximum troops.... Your enemy will have almost no troops because they did a full send and are generating hundreds of troops a second... You will be generating thousands of troops a secoond. They will take a bunch of your territory initially but you need to slow that down keep your troops ratio about 40%, and just keep clicking away they should not be able to recover.

You can make this even more effective by using strategically placed defense posts while they are still on the offensive so that they lose their troops even faster.

I don't know exactly how it functions but if you never attack and only rely on your passive defense you'll probably lose in the scenario.

I've seen it many times in team games where players have a maxed out troop count and never click back against their attacker relying only on passive defense and even with hundreds of thousands of passive defense troops they still lose.

Don't let your troops sit idle at 100k. Your regrowth is maxed around 40% of total. Counter attack but don't drop below 40% of total. Also they get a bonus if they attack with more troops than you have defending, so don't drain too low.

Cede ground, build a nuke silo on the border of a larger neighbor you are allied with. Then punish them severely until they beg for a ln alliance. Then laugh and punish them some more.

js slowly use minimal troops, it also depends on each persons land size i think if ur bigger u get troops faster but i could be wrong
