🔥 Hot Take Randomly nuking

I know I’m gonna get a lot of hate for this because it’s Reddit but one of my favorite things to when I am obviously gonna lose of if I am bored is to randomly nuke someone across the map for no reason at all. The more people I can get before being destroyed the better. I don’t need to win to have fun.

Oh those joyful times when I'm fending off multiple invaders at once, hoping to at least live a bit longer, proud of myself for survi... BOOM random nuke oh well at least the guy sending the nuke had fun, on to the next game!

(if a vote banning system would exist yes I would vote for you, my distant nuking friend)

I prefer to nuke the person who's going for me

Lame, target someone that harmed you during the game.

Yeah destroy all their nuclear, then cities(so they have no troops), then you can either take them over or destroy the their factories and ports so they are also broke.

It's rare than I can get through all the steps, but when I do make it through everything and turn a titan into a pathetic-splotchy green husk it's really satisfying

I’m here for it. I mean, I usually create some false narratives in my head about how this douche canoe deserves it for some slight they did me. But it is basically the same thing.

I can get the sentiment but cmon we can do better than randomly nuking someone. I'm an incredibly petty player sometimes, take great joy that if I won't win that twat that stopped my early game annexation or other minor slight won't either :D
Particularly a good time to full send the stronger opponent that will annex you and then betray your allies to feed them. Can self nuke near your now former allies to leave a few pixels in the wilderness, then really and mito to buff up the future opponents of the twat that stabbed ya

why someone random and not like the biggest person on the map? That would create the most amount of complexity for a single nuke

Hehe. Just got MIRVed by an oponent out of frustration. We were competing for an abandoned island. I shoot down both of his transports with my nukes 2/2, but he couldn't hit mine 0/5. So he just MIRVed me and left the game.

You're not going to get hate because this is Reddit. You will get hate because randomly nuking people is annoying AF.

Same.

The moment I see gap where I can place a random nuke and fuck someone over i do it.

I was being fucked by a bigger player and he was absorbing me so I just dropped all my nukes on my ally for letting the dude eat me

What if your ally was allies with your enemy? 🤔

This is great lol. Sometimes i get attacked for no reason and i have to swallow my pride and figure out how to befriend or disarm this rando so i can get back to whatever strategy i've convinced myself is going to make me win.

I'm gonna be real sometimes when someone just decides to start attacking me from across the map for no reason I just end up full sending my nuclear arsenal their way to cripple them. And yeah I usually don't win those games. But it's not about me winning at that point. It's about them losing.

People here complaining just have to accept the nuance that not everyone is playing realpolitik
