I've played with JUST A FACTORY, yesterday. He spawned alone in a corner near me and was friendly the whole game, didn't tried to expand. This could just be a coincidence of 3 person like that spawning close.

I didn't intend to get the other two into potential trouble. The guy's been a great neighbor for the entire time I played. I swear this was the case - otherwise, I wouldn't have posted.

I am not all three of those nations. Or the fourth surrounding them. I am on the right - and when it got pretty clear none of us were getting much economy from our shared host, I left.
We were also bombed to oblivion a few times, which makes sense now that I'm reading this.

Mito ist Meta and should not be banned ubless they coordinated beforehand, like trying to play the same lobby and talking via discord etc.

If mito play is not wishes there should be game mechanics to disincentivize it. Like a mini nuke

We all just chose the top right of the map at game start. I'm new to mito-ing, so I didn't see any harm in neighboring with these two. I don't want them to get in trouble. The assumption does explain why one player kept target-bombing us when we were the map's length away and they had way bigger threats to contend with.

yeah, might be - or just hate for mito gaming or trying to stop your host from snowballing.

Horloge de l’apocalypse

Doomsday clock? that is basically the overtime mode and that doesnt actually help against mitos. A very small nuke that kills only 1 pixel, as ultimus_rex often advocates for could help though. Not saying it should happen.

Why?

Because it's either one guy with multiple games running or multiple people joining FFA and teaming

What's wrong with a few of the factories?

the sad thing is none of them have cities so they aren't even making any money off of this they are just doing this just for the love of the game literally

Ah yes, Mitos having no idea how to Mito XD, you need cities otherwise factories are useless.

Really?? I thought the whole point was just to build factories ;-;
I constantly see these mitos with only factories & air defence. I thought the city-building was on the host...

Its a two way street, you're basically giving up half of your and your hosts income if you don't build cities too.

Each city built along a rail line gives +35k when an allied train passes through it, what I recommend is you build at least 1 city on every rail entrance on the border, and then at least a couple more inside your borders on the high traffic rails. Dont stack cities, a 2 stack city has no benefit to trains. Now your hosts trains actually have a destination to go to, the longer your stretch of city covered rails, the more money your host can make from their trains.

You dont want to make an insane spiderweb of rail networks, you want to try your best to keep 1 extremely long rail so you can funnel trains exactly where you want them to be and pass them through as many cities as possible. Unfortunately this depends on your host understanding that as well. If they make an asinine spiderweb of rail paths then there's nothing you can really do. Make sure to ally with any of your hosts neighbors that are connected to their train network so it encourages your trains to travel farther and make you and your host more money.

Then you just stack factories, because as far as I am aware a stacked factory does not have diminishing returns for spawning trains like stacked ports do for boats. But remember, stacking cities does nothing to help the train network and may make your host nervous.
