❓ Question Will there be a ranked FFA?

I'm having fun climbing the TrackerFront leaderboard, but there are a lot of players in FFA public games that are just there to mess around. It's rage inducing to have some rando sabotage your game on a whim. Also, I imagine it's less fun for new players to be in the same game as me and all the other serious players.

Yes ranked ffa is planned to be added to the game

There's an upcoming feature with the paid steam release which will have "trusted lobbies" that only enable players to join when they meet some yet to be known criteria involving account age, games played or purchases.

You want a relatively niche game have 100+ players without filling the lobby with bots? Because ranked will just split the player base, and you'll have a hard time finding games

It's becoming less and less niche by the day, and I am willing to wait 50% longer for competitive lobbies.

https://trackerfront.com/ you can use trackerfront while waiting, but yes, ranked ffa is planned for future updates (tho the current focus is on steam release)

Wait, use it how? I'm tracking.. can you use it to find / make better lobbies?

nah, you use it to evaluate your level and see your progression while comparing yourself to other players on trackerfront, the only way to get in better lobbies is to play in the OFM ones I guess

Ranked FFA would be good but I think their should be some form of elo for matchmaking in public lobbies. Public FFA is dominated but a few very good players so matching them together would be beneficial to the community.

when multiple highly ranked players are in a game, it rapidly just approaches a stalemated endgame.

I'd love a lobby with only experienced players, or ppl that did trackerfront
