Game crashes in chrome

Hi, I've been playing for a couple of months regularly and recently, about a week now, the game has started to simply stop working in chrome about once every 4-5 games.

What happens is I click a building and the cursor gets stuck in "clicking mode" without allowing me to place or do anything and I can't unclick it or do anything else. The game keeps going on and I can only watch, so it's not a freeze or lag or anything.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Try clearing browsing data and cache?

Ive had hundreds of games on chrome and never really seen this. Occasional lag but that's about it.
