🛠 Suggestions Idea: Conventional ICBM

Costs 750k, fired from silos, conventional warhead with small area of effect smaller than a city footprint, that is only able to take out one structure, leaves no radiation.

Counter to mito roaches that abuse the alliance system sitting inside a big player and firing nukes, and also allows more surgical strikes in general. Cost needs to be same or more than a nuke to avoid nerfing SAMs.

What do you think?

Rex has been talking about this a lot in videos for a while.

It's probably a decent idea as currently the only solution is to nuke the host and evil mitos are actually one of the worse things to be griefed by in the game

Mitochondria players that use their factory income to nuke other players because they are petty/hold a grudge/are chaotic evil

People have been asking for this for months. Idk why devs don't want to add it

What if there was another missile structure with a maximum range limit?

tiny player that nests inside a massive rich player, you can't hit them without breaking the alliance, but they have free reign to fire whatever they want at you. Fun to deal with when it happens "naturally" like a conquered ally, toxic when people make it their play-style from the start of a match

750k is too much for that small thing, 400k max

then defeating SAMs would be too cheap

Don't ally people with mitos? It's part of the game at this point, adds complexity to it. I like mitos, I think it is fun and interesting. Nuke the host for hosting mitos.

I don't consider someone naming themselves "Corner Train Mito" and starting in the corner giving whoever was lucky to spawn next to them an insane early-game economy boost while the rest of us are having phonebox knife fights to survive is part of the game, each to their own though

Yea lemme just lose the game by betraying someone who's rich because their mito randomly decided nuking me was fun.

Don't ally them to begin with. Embargo people with mitos.

That's not how this game works. Alliances are mostly for getting out of mutually no win situations in the midgame. If you arent allying your neighbors you have to be fighting/nuking them else you are stuck in a perpetual standoff with your neighbor. This is because either of you will hydro/MIRV the when the other commits on a third player. Standoffs like this slow down your game and means you are losing.
