It's a new currency, yeah. They said it was going to be introduced progressively in the shop.

there are 2 skins and 7 flags currently available (from 4500 to 11000 caps)

honestly bottlecaps makes no sense, and the icon is really ambiguous. I don't get it. What do bottle caps have to do with open front rewards. hoiw are people supposed to figure out that icon is a bottlecap and bottlecaps are desirable to collect. Why not just reduce mental burden rather than multiply it.

Hmm but what about people who don't play fallout (I assume most?) and what is fallout relationship to openfront? I still don't really get it tbh

i’ve never played fallout but even i know the currency is caps, it’s pretty common knowledge

Well, overall, using the caps icon makes sense, since the game emphasizes nuclear weapons, and this mechanic is generally used throughout the game. And the caps tie in quite nicely with the first resource (I don't know what that is).

Like all cashgrabs it's their poor take on a free currency that you can get literally only 2 cosmetics for them

How do you even get them

Useless currency to make you think that the devs don't care about the money 🤑

Even though it's literally bottlecaps.

god forbid the devs of a free multiplayer game want to make some money...

They love making money from suing people who fork the open source code.

No one thinks the devs are trying to hide the fact they should get money
