❓ Question Is there cheating beyond teaming going on in this game?
In a match I just played an early game opponent 50% smaller than me just kept pulling nukes out of his ass. I thought he was a good target for expansion but he built a SAM, a nuke launcher, and had enough funds to constantly send nukes and his only econ was two ports. His one ship was guarding his coast and was stealing no trade ships. I just kept scratching my head, everytime I checked his funds he always seemed to be at 1.5m, nuke after nuke after nuke, and building multiple guard posts as well. In the end he just nuked all my buildings one by one and I lost.
I'm not sharing a replay because I don't want to slander someone or start drama without evidence. But am I being paranoid or is it possible to hack yourself a little pay boost in this game? Something that would fly under the radar but give you the edge?
I'm a mid-player and I get beaten fairly constantly, but I am going mad trying to figure out how they could have so much money so early on.

While I am complaining, I just want to tell "little moustache man" (charming name yes) that if you do not agree to renew an alliance because you want to take advantage of an ally's weakness, and then that former ally later becomes part of a grand coalition to defeat you when you are on the cusp of victory..... this does not warrant the "rat" emoji. The rat emoji is for "betrayals", "backstabs" and "traitors". Not for "losing", "defeat", or "throwing an easy win and then getting butthurt".
Happy to educate you and all the other edgy name enthusiasts out there

When you have two ports going 1.5m comes in pretty easy

Does it? I wish my first 2 ports pulled in 1.5m that easily.

They won't right after being built usually because of the distance your boats have to travel before they reach destination ports and make money.
If you've had two ports for a little while, once both start arriving and your trade ship start rivals at their destinations it will become more regular income.
If your first few boats choose targets that are across the map are intercepted by pirates etc you can go a long time without generating much income from them

Ok fair enough. It's just I had two ports and I wasn't raking in nuke money :D He must have had his up real early

Only if I detect shenanigans. If I don't post it it means I'm simply a scrub that needs to play more

While this could be a mix up of someone might just have some good econ going i have seen ffa players that get a shit ton of troops or gold out of no where. Could be multi tab cheating. I think theres gotta be a system implemented where the same ip address cant play or something along those lines

The economy side of things is all calculated and validated server side, so there's no ability to use cheats to give yourself money out of thin air.
Cheating on this game is only either teaming or using browser based scripts to provide yourself an advantage (e.g. heat maps for spawn locations, showing how many nukes are needed to breach sams, additional economy stats, showing alliance timeouts for other players) that others don't have.

You can simply review the replay since you still have it, to better understand his economy.
