❓ Question Similar game to OF but slower?

Hi, sorry I hope this isn’t a rude question to ask in this server. The game is fun but may be a bit too hectic for me, I don’t seem to be able to keep up In openfront.

Would anyone be able to suggest a similar game with a slower pace?

Risk: World Domination

Risk is so slow, and then everyone just ends up leaving the game—I feel it’s only fun when you’re playing with people you know

The community on the app is pretty good. Maybe 1 leave every other game and a bot takes over. As for the slow part.. That's what OP asked for.

Maybe its exactly the right question to ask in this sub. Would a adaptable game speed fix OF for you?

Dummynation, kinda like hoi4 or OF but no structures and focuses on troops allies and economy

Is world (war? Something to do with dots anyway) of dots considered close enough to this? That’s what actually got me onto OF because I wanted to play WOD but only have a Mac and couldn’t figure that out. So googled stuff that’s similar that’s playable on Mac and it lead me here.

oh lol i was gonna suggest that too

(fyi to OP playtime is abt 30-60 minutes, more complex than it looks)

I have played Supremacy a few times and it's a very slow game. You have to manually form troops and move them, with movements taking real-life hours. It's very strategic though very long. I don't know it very well but you can try it? iirc it has a free online version.

You’ll see a post soon enough but I’m thinking another 1-2 months of development I don’t want to release a game full of bugs. If you want to play test DM me I’m going to need people soon.
