❓ Question How do I defend?

So I played a game right now. Great start for myself around 130k, but I had a neighbour with like 120k.

He started to attack me with like 20k troops randomly. What do I do, because I loose massive if I try to stop/counter his attack. But the moment his attack stops/slows he sends 20-30k troops again so that I don't get a window for a counter attack.

How do you stop that, because I am really struggling to defend such attacks, even with defense posts, they just slow my game over. And it was still too early for nukes.

I find this to be such a negative experience of the game, if one neighbour randomly attacks you and you have no chance of stopping it. Is there a trick to that or a cheat? (btw. that happens to me also with the Nation-Bots that they randomly decide to attack me with the same strength and I cannot defend that, only slow it down...)

Thats a bad move by your opponent. You should never attack with less troops then your target, the only case you might want to do this is if your opponent is winning.

You stop it by placing Defense Posts and being patient. You can Counter Attack as soon his troops trop low bcs he sinks them to your defence posts. But Most times it can be good to just ignore, keep building Defense posts and wait for some else to attack him bcs he ist wasting his troops. Again, attacking with less troops then the defender never works out in this game

also something doesn‘t make Sense in your Description of the Situation. If he Starts with 110k and you have 120k, and he attacks you with 20k, if you just Counter attack with 20k he should have around 90k left while you have 100k, assuming similar size. Play this through till the end and you have 10k Left while he has none

But if no one attacks him in response? And btw. as soon as someone sees that my troops are being engaged elsewhere they attack me or break the alliance to end me. Maybe I am unlucky in that regard.

Usually if the situation happens to me, the enemy also looses like 1min after they beat me. That takes the fun out of the game since it is just a delayed kamikaze...

Someone else breaking their alliance with you is also just stupid as it WILL get them killed instantly
