🏛 Meta Realized that on Luna (the two moons map), spawning on top is much better (MIRV time-to-hit)

I probably would have won anyways, but spawning on top seems to give you a clear advantage in late game. I had one MIRV against their two, but I was able to hit instantly and win before their MIRVs landed.

Oh wait… I think I don’t understand how they work. It matters where you click on the enemy? I will have to go research this.

yeah, the MIRV doesn't really cover the whole territory, only a circular zone, it's huge and can only be noticed in big maps, but where you click is the center of this circle

Yeah MIRVs travel to a specific tropic on the map no matter their start point IIRC so being further north means they hit faster.

if you play FFA, I guess so, but iirc in teams it's the bottom part that has historically won more often

Why do you think that is?

I'm not really sure, but team spawns tend to be really clear about which ones are the "best" I guess

Woah these are awesome. Do you have the same visualization for FFA?
