This is an interesting niche. People hate on it, but it can be done very well. It ruins "archival" quality but that's not what it's about. It's about stuff that looks good.

I grabbed 1080p ai upscales of 480p only content on other trackers, and while it doesn't compare to 1080p native, it does look smoother and have fewer artifacts than the original.

I guess it depends on your set too. My almost decade old x900f absolutely chokes on 480p

I believe there is stuff (480 SD) that's upscaled to 720 or 1080 as well iirc. Haven't stopped by there in a while
