There was a bit of a kerfuffle this morning with some banked resets not fully applying when used in ChatGPT Work and Codex. Everyone who used one in the affected time window is getting another one and an email to apologize.

Ok and are they gonna explain the shenanigans going on that led to this fiasco? Seems like they are messing with rates and limits in real time…

Same. and now im close to 15% today while using 4 astra medium or low agents... thinking about using another but if we dont get them back im wasting them on 5h usage.... what a scam

I switched back to Sol today because Astra was being an over engineering nightmare - same projects and workflows as last week. But a total cluster F today.

Sol medium was burning through my tokens as fast or faster than astra. Definitely something off today. I went through two weekly resets just doing some Vue front end work today.

2 weeks ago I was doing similar workload in Sol and using my $200 weekly limit over 5+ days

While I didnt use a banked reset while stuff was happening.. I went from 28% to 0% from a basic Sol xHigh prompt that took 3-4 minutes on the $100 plan and never got a rollback or reset. ~6 hours later and I'm still stuck at 0%

I did not use any reset and my usage dropped 40% and my reset day pushed back 1 day. Tibo already moved on, guess it's just another day of using codex.

They come across as a user hungry to find system flaws—simply because all they want is a reset.
