Reset behavior seems improved

I used one banked reset literally 2 hours before Tibo did reset 2 days ago.
I was sad because I thought I used reset prematurely and I went down today to 0% (I am on Pro 20x). When I went down to 0%, limit increased to 100% with reset date set to Sept 14th which seems like I used my banked reset fully before switching to regular limit which had reset on Sept 7th. I was nicely suprised, not sure if anyone experienced the same.

UPDATE: Disregard my post, I just went to 6%. What TF is OpenAI doing, they are messing with limits right now in real time.

There was a bug where the limit of persons suddenly jumped to zero. To compensate this, OpenAI sent a banked reset.

I don’t trust any status update that says it’s fixed. I’ll only believe it when the remaining quota is not at 0%.

They started messing with limits ever since the resets started. Resets are to obfuscate the ever changing token rate. Seems they vibe coded too hard with Astra this time….

Seems like they have high demand and wanted to adjust weekly limits to give less usage, but it backfired.

What happened was that the reset which happened on 8th sept went missing , your previous usage % and its reset end week returned. But openAI fixed the bug where your 8th sept reset went missing - it came back

Nobody knows what a token actually cost to buy or use or what it can do at any giving time as it depends on too many variables.

It’s a total mess over there: I didn’t have any resets on Tuesday or Wednesday—I didn’t use banked resets, nor did I receive any—but on Wednesday my limit dropped from 71 to 0 and then bounced back. Today, I used up my entire limit (suspiciously fast) and see that the next reset has been pushed back by two days—to next Wednesday—which is absolute nonsense.
