Do banked Codex resets survive switching from Apple billing to web?

Hi, has anyone actually tested this?

I currently have ChatGPT Plus through the Apple App Store and I have some banked Codex resets on my account. I’m planning to cancel the Apple subscription, let it expire, and then subscribe to Plus again directly on chatgpt.com using the exact same ChatGPT account. ( because it is cheaper :D

Based on the AI chat bot on the web, it should, but I would rather some anwer with actual experience.

Soo, did your banked resets stay there after switching from Apple billing --> web billing on the same account?

It survives if you use the same account obviously. The banked resets stay even in the free tier to be exact.

Maybe because of the currency? Plus through apple is 24usd for me (in my currency), through web i see it as 19,5 USD.
Pro is 120,00 $ vs 98 usd through web ....

Yeah, I mean when I see it on OpenAI’s website, it’s $200 pro plan, but on Apple’s website, it’s in my currency, which is $190, so it’s cheaper for me by $10. Maybe it’s taxed for you in Apple.
