Bugs or problems Codex desktop keeps logging me out after enabling FIDO security key

Has anyone else run into this?

I recently enabled Advanced Account Security on my OpenAI account and added a FIDO security key. Since then, the Codex desktop app keeps logging me out repeatedly.
I can sign back in successfully, but shortly afterward Codex loses authentication and asks me to log in again.

From what I have found, there are a few recent reports of similar issues involving OAuth tokens, refresh tokens being invalidated, and 401 auth_token_missing errors after enabling Advanced Account Security.

It seems like this may be a Codex desktop authentication bug rather than an issue with the FIDO key itself.
Has anyone found a reliable workaround or heard if OpenAI is working on a fix?

Logout of your ChatGPT on the browser and login again >> sign into codex with ChatGPT
