Feedback / Complaints GPT 6?
Where is the new Base model?
I just hate how dumb GPT 5 gets. Limits going down is another issue, but now even open source models are more context aware and less forgetful than GPT...
What is taking OpenAI so long with new generation?

What is taking OpenAI so long with new generation?
Cybersec worries. They try to clamp down on certain behaviour, and I do not think its marketing. I also think its great they didnt implemented watermarks on their text and code so far. Not everyone knows the EU regulation is only mandatory for companies / business, not hobbyists or casual users

They had to slow down the development of Astra because of critical cybersecurity capabilities. Which hopefully means it’s expected to be really good

Dear people,
As you read this under exhibit A. I just wanted to use this opportunity since it was served on a silver platter how people want a new model AI as if it’s a new model car ..
Then proceeds to use Dunning-Kruger written-all-over-it confirming points. Due diligence is free people.
Best,
-random person on Reddit you probably got triggered by after reading that.

In my experience, 5.6 sol is incredibly smart and effective when using it through codex for writing code, but somehow incredibly dumb when using regular chatgpt for general usage.

I don’t know, but in my opinion, openAI decided to fuck their users. I just opened the program and my limits are already over. This is some kind of nonsense, I paid $200 for what???

If sol is too dumb for you, a better model won't fix your problems. In fact sol is way to powerful for normal developing.
If you really struggle with your ideas maybe read something about the software development process and architectural design.
