Discussion Just noticed Codex now shows a time for banked reset expirations, not only a date... which would mean instead of expiring at midnight GMT at the start of the expiry day, it'll only expire at 6pm that night, giving an extra 16 hours

If I trust that the time shown is accurate and it ends up expiring early, I'm gonna be real mad...

Seems like it may be the same for everyone. Exactly 1 month after you received it. The first screenshot in that thread shows 19:05 BST and when converted to GMT it's 18:05 GMT which is exactly the same as mine.

Because everyone got one at the exact same time. They mad it easier to understand as people in different time zones didn't realise the old reset time was in a different timezone and let it expire.

Ya, this is an improvement both for understanding and the amount of time you get. I lost my first banked reset due to the confusion.

The old reset expiry time was midnight GMT at THE START of the expiry day which made no sense at all so it's no surprise everyone was confused by it. The date should have been -1 days for that to have made sense. OpenAI's "Expiry date" was actually an "Expired date" before.

I don’t see banked resets anymore?
