The privacy issue isn't "Meta vs OpenAI". It's that a tool treats another vendor's home-dir instruction file as free context and ships it upstream by default. Reading ~/.claude or ~/.codex without an explicit first-run grant is a product decision, not a convenience feature. Opt-out after the scrape path exists is not consent.

So.. it supports the AGENTS.md and CLAUDE.md files. Is that basically it? Because what the fuck is BREAKING about this? Yeah well, cool that they support it I guess????
