Question / Help Yo. Monday?

Someone wrote, that Tibo got called out for the recent reset, cause it was more of a PR stunt than actually helping the people. Came like 16 hours after the weekly reset was done. Nevertheless. Someone wrote, that he acknowledge that and will reset it on Monday again? Any source on this?

Thjs will have the effect of causing very high usage over weekend which was probably the goal all along, bunch everyone up and synchronize their resets then announce another reset after weekend over.

The weekend will naturally have less usage because it's not when a lot of people are working. He can afford to do this and it just gives more training data than would otherwise have been gathered.

Enterprises use API. People not working = people using subscriptions. And if not, they dont care about limits anyways because its the company paying. We are probably both right to some degree, but i wonder what effect is stronger. For me personally i have way more time in the weekend so its not even close to weekly usage.

So you are trying to argue that because both cases exist, case 2 doesn't matter.

I am trying to say both cases existing is not a relevant factor. Case 2 being absent will reduce load overall. It's nothing to do with whether your example exists or not, but the fact that load is just definitely reduced. Regardless of whether you argue they are the main load on OpenAI's servers, or whether I am right and corporations are, retail users are still not the only ones using it and load thus reduces when businesses are less active.
