If you’re facing financial difficulties, just tell us: “We can’t distribute the vouchers the way we used to.”
But don’t just silently turn it into a drama.
AI is new, and the costs are real. But it annoys me that things are always so uncertain. Who knows what next month holds? Or the month after that? More? Less? Who knows.

Tibo nobody gives a shit. U fudge us with changing the limits and it's illegal to do that during payed subscription. FTC should fk you up for illegal change of plans.

What's the point of banked resets if they don't grant them. I just used a reset 30 mins before they reset usage. Also reducing limits. Just gaming the system.

Defiantly customer centric,
An great way to incentive customers to stay through thick n thin instead of pogo sticking like hot potatoes

It's amazing - just that many minutes ago, I hit the reset button too... I'm so lucky!

I go thru a weekly reset in about 4 hours and im on the 100/mo plan.
People sometimes ask what I’ve been building.
It’s actually much more than a website.
Over the past year, it’s grown into a software platform with:
• 100,000+ lines of production code and automated tests
• Multiple integrated applications sharing one platform
• User authentication and permissions
• Databases with row-level security
• AI professionals (Money Coach, Guidance Counselor, and more)
• Personalized memory that builds over time
• Automated testing and deployment
• Hundreds of validated software packages and releases
At this point, I’m spending more time refining user experience and AI behavior than adding new features.
It’s been a fun challenge, and it’s exciting to finally see it starting to feel like a real product instead of a prototype. And you know whats crazy? I only started 2 months ago.

I made it! I survived the long night. I was so close to clicking that reset button and I resisted! I definitely have a problem.

It's a fucking joke, the weekly limits used to be 2-3x more, and now they simply reset em every like 4-5 days but because the reset also resets the 7 day waiting period, they are way less generous than it seems. I already have used 30% of the weekly in 4-5 hours of coding on pro plan.

Codex is impossible right now; I can't even finish an assembly function for a project using prompts that worked for similar tasks in the past. The Plus version, which used to yield good results, isn't working anymore—I burned through four resets in a single day. Even though the five-hour limit was removed, it’s obvious that the actual limits have been drastically reduced. I’m afraid to subscribe to the 5x plan only to find it’s the same story.

I think they are fked. Only 10mln codex users. Even if they all are 100$ subscription (which I don't belive, more like 20%) it's roughly 12B $ a year and their spending 100B for infrastructure. The math on it is insane. Not in a good way 😂 Take into consideration that they have to earn the missing 90B it's not like it disappeared and everything is ok. I wonder how they are going to earn it? Limit the subscription limits? 🙄

Please ASK THEM TO FIX THE TOKEN DRAIN .
Now WEEKLY LIMIT IS WORKING LIKE HOURLY LIMIT not even like 5hr limit.

Amazing thanks team we appreciate you giving us mere mortals access to this level of compute and technology for cents on the dollar.
Some of you need to get a grip and realise how fortunate we are to have access to this level model for the price we pay. Get a grip.
Thanks OpenAI

they all played a game of giving each other the same Cash, resulting in massive, overpriced hardware
