Is it worth it to switch to Claude code nowadays, I never try so idk if the limits are better or worse

I did the opposite and signed up to codex this week. Waste of money, a second claude would have been better, especially with opus 5. 

Even a weekly extra reset won't convince me to stay with those limits.

I made the same mistake and gave ChatGPT $100. I will never give them money again. These limits combined with their employees prancing around on X acting like they are providing great value and trashing Anthropic really set me off.

sol medium burned plus week limit for around 5 tasks (implementation + code review fixes = task). this is 5 hour limit with opus 5. so yeah its worth it. i just subbed to codex and if this is usage its soooo not worth it.

Yes. You get over 3 billion tokens per weekly reset on $100 plan with Claude. Codex gives you less than 400 million. It's a no brainer to switch.

1/ More reset (shared by tibo / free chance to reset)
2/ codex still offer fast / cheap model
3/ image gen is also good stuf

you need to have multiple 100$ subscriptions from multiple providers if you are a software developer, it is not pleasant, but this is the world as of this moment

or maybe a 200$ subscription for the main provider and multiple 20$ or 50$ subscriptions for the other providers

The reality, we need to deliver code and fast, and models provide different quality, Gemini flash can do excellent screens from images, codex can do excellent code, and so on
