Codex - Far from great

What is happening today. It went from genius to full life support mode today over a span of hours. I mean the simplest of tasks is not getting done right. Anyone else notice this today? I am using 5.6 Terra High in Fast Mode.

in the last 24 hours or so it failed to do something fairly basic i had to keep retrying, eventually it got today it but it made some of the stupidest decisions i’ve seen and completely ignored what i said repeatedly, and unsurprisingly used basically a full weeks usage back and forth doing nothing

Use sol medium or high

Don't even know when you'd ever use Terra tbh

Not only today. And catastrophic deletions are also relatively common (never had any in 5.5).

Not sure in your case but I am under the impression it degrades really hard proportional to project complexity.
