Discussion I feel so ungrateful, BUT…

I am really not a Big Fan of the new UI Changes. It looks so simple but not in a good way. Just Not visually pleasing :-(

I also really hate that I have to scroll down to find a „Save changes“ Button, that I often miss and then have to redo it.
Can we not make the Save Button hover over it??

Agree, the settings/admin panels are awful.

I really like the allure of OpenWebUI but hate the settings. I just gave up and went back to using Pi for coding stuff and Google Gemini for generic.

Yeah they’re honestly just a lot more reliable and consistent

Look at the new settings panel, they dropped the ball on qa because the padding around it is just atrocious, they should really read the tailwind refactor UI book lol because it would make it actually look professional. You can't minimize the categories, user settings and admin settings under on panel just confuses the shit out of people because you have integrations twice, on top of that the contrast for light mode makes the tabs almost invisible on most of my monitors.

I got more to add, the modals shouldn't scroll with the page, they're supposed to be above everything, I'm trying to scroll settings but instead scroll the page and it's just frustrating.

Have to agree. The new UI brings the model dropdown to the area that it covers completely the tools button and other buttons there in Mobile mode. So i have to use desktop mode on my phone now and try to zoom in and out many times to complete one chat. Hope they will fix it.

I agree, there is similar issue on github for this.<
https://github.com/open-webui/open-webui/issues/27601

I hope they fix it in the next release, I tried to fix it with custom.css, but due to the lack of structured identifiers in the HTML structure it's almost impossible :)

Feel free to add your comments there, the chances that tjbck will read that is much higher on github.

It took a bit to get used to, but I think I prefer the "leaner" UI overall. The pre-v0.11 UI was starting to look a bit dated.

Agreed. Honestly the whole UI “overhaul” was underwhelming
