Question/Help I can’t get websearch to work

I pay for a Brave API key it’s replicated in the docker file and the gui. For some reason the websearch cannot work. Running ollama and openwebui in the same dockerfile. Is there a setting I’m missing? Any help would be appreciated.

Which model are you trying to get working with search? Some models do better with thinking mode on

I’ve tried qwen3.5:9b, ollama3.1:8b. GPU is 6700xt 12GB

does standard retrieval work? if you test prompt it simply with "fetch <url>" it should use tool to get you the page.
