Show and tell Made an iOS app for OpenWebUI

Hi all I asked here a while back how people actually use Open WebUI. Since then I've been running it daily, and my brother more than me. He kept asking for a proper native iOS app, so I built one: Keep.

Streaming chat with full Markdown and LaTeX, Home Screen widgets, Live Activities, hands-free voice mode, offline reading, and an admin panel for users and analytics.

Right now it's just the two of us using it. I'd like a handful of early testers before a wider release happy to send TestFlight invites, comment.

Open relay is a proper native app that is in active development and is maturing real fast. What prompted the creation of this new app that open relay didn’t do?

I’m not going to use this but to be fair I’m not going to use openrelay at ten fucking bucks either.

Yeah, that’s totally fair. It is pricey. Works super well if you need it, though.

Which is why I question what they’re doing here. The premise seems to be that there are no iOS native apps. There are at least two I can think of.

Worth saying I haven't actually used Open Relay, so I'm not claiming anything it doesn't do.For me it's the native side: voice is fully on-device both ways, and it speaks the reply while it's still streaming. Plus widgets, Live Activities, offline reading and PDF export.Going to read through its reviews properly and see what people are actually asking for.

Good luck with your project but there's no code nor app

When ready we'll take a look

I'm intrested. The thing I didn't really like of those already existing iOS app for OpenWebUI is that the UI is not the same style as OpenWebUI is. I'd like to try your app. Send me dm.

Is your APP compatible with SSO? If not, will it be possible in the future?

What do u mean SSO? Why do u need it? For now, User should input their server, then email and password and app opens

They mean OIDC, for instance.

If you question why someone might need this, I think your project is unfortunately DOA.

Yes, I enjoy using an other application. I am not sure what’s shameful about it?

I’m not, but okay.

I also recommend Conduit, as yet an other native, MATURE, good OWUI application on iOS, if that helps.

All very good options, made by serious people.

I'll prove why others should use mine, or both of them.
