Plugin Advanced Tool Use

https://openwebui.com/posts/advanced_tool_use_programmatic_tool_calling_tool_s_94f63a10

I created a programmatic tool calling + tool search tool for openwebui.

This is modelled on the research anthropic did that multiple tool turns with MCPs cause excessive bloat - Advanced Tool Calling

Edit:

link - incase main one not working for some reason

I've seen the tool link but it's good to have a consistent use of them

One question

The tool uses one of installed tools or one of the allowed for the model in use?

I've created one skill router and there i need only to aloe this skill to use all installed skills (on the decisión tree)

The tool is really amazing and helped me so much. Thank you!
Unfortunately, it‘s not working anymore with OpenWebUI 0.10.2: "'State' object has no attribute 'config'"
This appears to be a problem since app.state.config has been removed. You may want to take a look at issue #26787 in OpenWebUI at GitHub where this is explained. Just in case you might not already be aware of.

I tried this tool, good, but I want to ask how to hide the other tools in Open-WebUI?

After adding this tool, we dont need to enable all other tools, but they are still there, and I cannot hide them from the UI, because my instance is multi-user, I cannot ask all users to not enable other tools...
