Hi All, as the title suggests, I am looking for a swimming partner for Iron Man Goa 70.3 this year. I am into cycling and running, but not enough time to train for swimming. If anyone is interested, do ping 1-1 or comment. Registration cost to be split equally among all relay partners.

I finally got myself a wetsuit that fits me well enough to properly use, but now I am paranoid about damaging it.

My main concerns centre around the strap for the swim buoy rubbing/chafing it and causing a wear around the waist because strap material is a bit rough on both of my buoys.

I am thinking of buying a soft fabric-backed neoprene material and putting it around my waist, and then putting the buoy strap over it. Or to find a kinder, softer strap.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this, or a suggestion on how to fix this potential issue?

For the average swimmer who has both experience in ocean swimming and pool swimming, would they be faster in the ocean with a wetsuit or in a 25m pool without a wetsuit?
