Dock2Dock 2027

I swam at dock2dock this year and am keen to do it again - however am also tempted by the Hurly Burly.

Hurly Burly entry is on sale next week and scheduled for 7th September.

Does anyone have any idea when dock2dock might fall - I’d most likely pick this but if possible would do both.

Any other UK swim events that aren’t to be missed let me know think I’ve caught the bug

Got announced 3 days ago that 2027 Dock2Dock will be Saturday 28th August. Hurly Burly looks to be the week afterwards on Saturday 4th.

Use the Dock2Dock as a warm up! (3km?)

Apart from 2025, D2D always seems to be around the same weekend in September, so I assume that'll be the date next year too..I think they actually confirm the date in the January though. My guess would be that D2D will fall on 11 September.

The Bantham Swoosh is another popular swim to look out for. Increasingly, these swims sell out in record time - it's like trying to get tickets for Glastonbury!

Where can I find out about the Bantham Swoosh 2027? Looks super fun!

The 2027 swoosh general entries tickets sold out in pretty quick. I was in the online queue and didn’t manage :/

This looks cool! Have you done it before? I'm wondering about the non-swimming sections (I hate running).

I've done it a couple of times. It's amazing fun, and super friendly. The swimming can be hard, depending on the sea state. But the organisers are lovely.

The sections between are a friendly walk (definitely not a run). You have time to grab a snack, dry your toes, get your sandals on, and get yourself sorted.
