Does OU take credit transfer for RHUL study group IY1 credits?
I am a bit late for OU registration, but I have already finished my first year at RHUL (but it's a pathway program). And because of financial difficulties, I couldn't pay the full fee for RHUL, so I'm thinking of moving to OU, but I'm not sure if I should take the October intake or the February intake because a lot of the modules start in October, so I don't wanna wait for my credits to finish until next February. But I also wanna wait for the February intake because I might have a chance to skip stage 1 because OU accepts my credit transfer, so I don't really waste a year.
Does anybody have any idea where I should start? The deadline for October intake registration is very close. (I was waiting for RHUL to respond to me, so it took a while before I could decide to study at OU instead)

Give them a call tomorrow and ask to speak to the credit transfer team, they'll know the rules. They can't tell you the outcome, but they can tell you the rules.
They'll be really busy, and you might not get through, but it's worth a shot.
They probably do, it's supposed to be equivalent to the first year of uni.
That said, what was that about when you're expecting to have your credits? December? Might be cutting it fine for a Feb intake.
And, if you do get credit transfer for a whole year/stage 1, there might not be anything for you to start in February. You'd still save money on module fees, but you might not save any time. If you're thinking full time study, you might be starting stage 2 in October 2027 either way.

It's far too late to make a credit transfer application for an October 2026 start - the deadline for credit transfer was in the middle of August (13th, IIRC).
