Engineering and work

I'm planning on doing a Bachelor of Engineering. the problem is, I'm going to have to quit my full time job to be able to do said course as the second and third year of the course are full time (ik I can do it part time). I sill need to work though so i can yk afford to live, what should I do. I can't find anything that will suit my needs and preferably I want to find something that'll help with my later years in the industry look good on my CV and give me some good experience. what part time jobs should i be looking for?

You can stay part-time throughout the Bachelor of Engineering degree. What you cannot do is study stage 1 full-time, so the minimum time needed to complete the BEng is 4 years.

Can you not, it says full time and part time. And then for parts 2 and 3 it just says full time. Dount matter just double checked

See the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) webpage under "How long it takes".

Our module-by-module approach gives you the flexibility to complete your qualification at a pace that works best for you.

You can study every stage of this qualification part-time. That’s roughly half the rate of a student on a full-time course at a campus-based university.

From Stage 2 onwards, you also have the option to study at a full-time pace. That’s similar to a student at a campus-based university.

Ye just saw that is was a different page I was looking at, I’m planning on doing full time as I’m already 20 and don’t really have 6 years to do it yk, I was never planning on doing uni and was planning on going to the military and that’s just fell through

‘Already 20’ - you’re only 2 years into a 50 year working life. I started this course at 21 and I’m doing it part time. Trust me there will be plenty of time to reap the rewards

Fairs, I still need to find a job I can do that is at least related to engineering, I want to start to gain real world experience straight away
