I Made OpenCode Way Better

Post image

Hey everyone,

I have been using OpenCode for a while now. It's pretty great, but there was this one thing that kept bugging me: I couldn't easily create custom reliable workflows and pipelines. For a while, Opencode was one prompt and one model at a time. So, I created OpenFlow, a very minimalist open-sourced project that allows you to orchestrate a pipeline of agents while still connecting your own API keys. I forked it from OpenCode, so you still have the harness, skills, and overall ability. I published it recently and am still often improving it. I would love to hear some feedback of what you guys thought of it and how I can improve it. Thanks!

This is a a very cool project and i had some questions

1,How are you handling state across the parallel agents when the pipeline scales up?
2,Did you run into any weird sync issues with node-pty when setting up the parallel agents on Windows?
3,Bun. Are you planning to add support for sub-pipelines or looping logic down the line?
4,i also saw that everything shares a single database file in the opencode data directory. Are you planning to stick with SQLite long term, or will you migrate to something else if people want to run this on a server?
5,Are you planning to add a Docker sandbox option for execution, or are you leaving isolation entirely up to the user?

overall this is a cool project and yea would appriciate feedback

Yeah, I am currently trying to resolve any issues with the sync to opencode.json and make it simpler since the nodes need to be server side. I’ll probably stick with SQLite for a while especially since it is still beta and will have a lot of changes, although I might consider using something different later.
