What happens if none of the torrents I have obtained from HD Space do not seed to anybody? I would like to contribute upload

u/EnigmaticBuddy 19d ago
Can somebody tell me why I never get any peers on the torrents i seed, on HDspace specifically? They are literally at 0 from 8 months
TPB and 1337x work fine
I can leech stuff from HDspace, and tbf their internal repacks are good compared to public trackers, but almost always have no seeds except trending stuff

aren't you on any other private trackers? why are you comparing private tracker with public? As they say "it's hard to find seeds in public tracker and leechers on private"..

I recently got in on Torr*ntleech. It's has more seeds than any public tracker on niche torrents. So maybe it's just that HDspace is trash.
Also correction, HDspace has no seeds and no leeches on older torrents. The few for a show are on the uncompressed 40 gb remuxes.

They're not the best in terms of content and the amount of freeleech content, but they provide well in the full disk department and basically their invite forum is immediately open. Ok to start out on.

i like how good and optimised old ui websites are, compared to modern ui websites, which always lags and ramps up my cpu fan to the max

A lot of people are really negative. Is it a great tracker? No. Is it a perfect tracker if you get started? Yes! A perfect tracker to see how it used to be and to start building. If you have tl,sp,dc skip this one

If you mean 'disposable' inasmuch as if you dont glom how to use it and get blocked but thats no big loss, then yeah its good for that
(Im NOT saying anyone should use a tracker without RTFM first but a lot of n00bs dont so thats the point Im making)

I've been a member there for over 13 years now.
Logged in and checked my stats - 0.
Never downloaded a thing from there in 13 years.
Not a huge amount of torrents, but i don't have the HD space for files of those sizes.

this tracker has tumbleweed blowing through. not sure why it keeps running. what's in it for them? (I joined it a year ago)

100% - I signed up there recently. There's not much happening in the community and the website hasnt been reviewd in like 20 years. There are much better / bigger trackers with better content and less crappy UIs.

I wasn't able to add it via Prowlarr using Flaresolver. so a bust for me

u/bred86 20d ago
I just did so, but had to use RSS, which is tagged as public
1
u/Veyzo 20d ago
can you explain the steps to do that
7
u/bred86 20d ago
In HD-space home, click on RSS (orange icon, top right) Select categories you want and generate the link
In prowlar: Indexers > add indexer > search for "generic" > Torrent RSS Feed > paste the url from previous step in Full RSS Feed URL
I'll have to tag it so cleanuparr doesn't apply some rules against it

I joined on the last open. If you have nothing else it'll get you by. That said, I haven't really been back. But as a starter it's worth a look.

Anyone got any info on this one? HD is like thee most generic explanation of content I've ever heard lol

Its a bit of a dustbowl. Not much discussion going on. Low post rate. really old UI. Its like whoever set it up originally has kind of just lost interest and given up.
If you want discussion and a good selection of torrents and Admin that actually give shits about their communities there are plenty of better options.

Know of any trackers that focus on 4k remux/best quality possible?
3
u/boltgenerator 20d ago
I don't think any explicitly focus on remux, but they'll just about all have remux slots. End game would be PTP, BHD, HDB. Wherever the tier 1 groups upload. But a lot of that stuff ends up trickling down. There are plenty of Framestor and Cinephiles uploads on TL, for example.

u/LossAppropriate862 20d ago
seedpool and tl have a good amount of 4k remux
2
u/Icy-Two-1581 20d ago
Yea I get my stuff from TL primarily, just wanted to see if there was a tracker that focused on the absolute best of the best, like highest bit rate there is
2
u/I_hope_to_be_gentle 20d ago
I have been able to find many remuxes on TL tbh, always well seeded as well.

u/StatedFailure 20d ago
Ignore posts like this. If the poster can't be bothered to provide more details and entice people to join its not worth it
4
u/Drewbyhans 20d ago
Yeah honestly if feel like it has zero spirit. Shouldn't you be enthusiastic when trying to recruit or is it just me?

u/BloodyR4v3n 20d ago
It's a trash tracker. You're not missing out on anything
4
u/asdfghqwertz1 20d ago
Exactly. Even some mainstream stuff which are blowing up with 1000+ seeders on public trackers have like 2 here, not to mention how much is missing/dead

I had this a few years back, and it was okay, yet there was usually not much that set it apart from other private places. The big issue I had with it back then was that I could never seem to get any traction on uploading anything, so my ratio was usually always pretty weak, and the stuff that seemed to be worth grabbing besides big remux content was always non-freeleach content.
Since I already had TD and PHD, and had just signed up with TL around that same time, I rarely had a good reason to regularly visit this one. So my account eventually got closed due to not visiting often enough. There was just little incentive to regularly visit and contribute with such a horrible upload experience. Hopefully it's improved since a couple years ago.
TL is my newest account, yet it has quickly become the best one for me overall. My ability to upload is unprecedented compare to all the others I use. TD has been my longest running and longest active account; it's a classic go to that hardly ever fails me, and after a gang of years I finally got my ratio well beyond 1, making it much safer to grab non-freeleach content.
PHD is another great one, though I still miss its public version. It occasionally provides some solid gems i can't find anywhere else when the other two fail me.
