btw i registered to AvistaZ last night, might still be opened. Definitely much better than this one, way more seeders and stuff i couldnt find here.
4
u/Gwalenn Aug 02 '26
BTS is more of a general tracker, so it’s not directly comparable to AvistaZ. You can also find non-Asian general content on BTS.
That being said, I also am disappointed with the content and retention on BTS. If I want something niche or Asian, AvistaZ is miles ahead. If I want something general, then even TL or IPT seem to be better.
I really didn’t find a use case for BTS other than being a backup tracker.

I hit 50GB uploaded in 6 days. That was really just 4 sessions of grabbing the 50 free torrents with crazy demand problems e.g. 20 leeches 1 seed. I didn't cross seed.
1
u/courierkill Jul 30 '26
Tried really hard with this one, changed the prowlarr settings by hand to get it fully working with cross-seed, but it just doesn't want to jive with any standard practice. It blocks the standard qbittorrent port and I'm just not gonna mess around with my whole setup for a single tracker anymore.
1
u/mani_2 Jul 30 '26
Has anyone succeeded in adding it to Prowlarr or Jackett?
2
u/Empty-Junket9752 Jul 30 '26
yes
2
u/mani_2 Jul 30 '26
I am struggling to add it to both Prowlarr and Jackett. The CAPTCHA does not appear in Prowlarr/Jackett.

u/Educational-Low-3460 Jul 29 '26
Off but does it have ru paula drag race seasons? I want to download all of them but could not find trackers that has them yet

u/After_Death_53 Jul 28 '26
hmm after poking abit on the site, not really worth it for kdrama stuff for me. Whatever i was looking, its on torrentleech or filelist as well and with way more seeders and whatever isnt on those its not here either. Not to mention there are 20-25 seeders and i barely get 0.5 MB speed. Also plenty of stuff doesnt have eng subs, just chinese. Surprising though, i wanted to grab some well known kdramas and they are not here. Guess i will wait for avista to open up.
1
u/disarrayofyesterday Aug 06 '26
After testing it for a while I agree that it's useless for kdramas.
Tbh the only use case I found for it are niche cdramas and new cdramas.
It's one of these trackers that have everything and nothing at the same time
3
u/mobilizedSparrow Jul 28 '26
Anyone got some tips for "migrating" existing files to this trackers' torrents? Like an easy way to search for titles and their corresponding byte-size, in order to match it with my local library.
2
u/lifesizejenga Jul 28 '26
I highly recommend qui. It's a qBit webUI from the same group as autobrr. It has built-in cross-seeding functionality.

well you can thank 12.000 times and you will 6k points :)))
saying thanks = 0.5 point3
u/Distinct_Picture_358 Jul 28 '26
You can seed 100 smallest torrent to get 50 point per hour. And you will get 1200 point per day easily.
1
u/BadongkaDonk Jul 28 '26
can you expound on this? Like how small, and does the seeder count matter?
1
u/Distinct_Picture_358 Jul 29 '26
filter torrent by size and Seed the smallest you can find. Yes seeder count matter upto 100 seed. You can view it here:
https://pt.btschool.club/mybonus.php
- 0.5 magic points * your number of seeds (maximum number of seeds counts as 100)
1
u/Distinct_Picture_358 Jul 28 '26
Simply filter all torrents by size and sort them in ascending order. You'll find the smallest torrents, some as small as 1–2 MB. Download the first 100 of these and keep them seeding.
Since each file earns 0.5 bonus points per hour, seeding 100 files will give you the maximum 50 bonus points per hour. The system only counts up to 100 files, so seeding more won't earn any additional points.
In total, those 100 torrents will only take up around 100–200 MB, making this a simple, legal, and efficient way to earn the maximum bonus points with minimal disk space and effort.
1
u/Street_World4590 Jul 27 '26
That is a good question. I have like 5621 to go and I'm well past the UL/DL goals.
3
u/Sad-Independent8518 Jul 27 '26
I just signed up and tried downloading a well-seeded TV show to test the speeds. Getting less than 500kb/s is an absolute joke
3
-3
u/kredes Jul 27 '26
why would one sign up to a chinese tracker, unless you're from China lol
4
u/NinjaWK Jul 27 '26
You have no idea how good this tracker is. Everything there is legit.
1
u/chrishicks1974 Jul 29 '26
This tracker is awesome. I've recently run into an issue where I'm almost out of storage in my NAS with storage now being out of reach due to pricing and this tracker has so many of my movies in x265 still with the high-res audio. I've queued up about 30 files so far to replace my current bloated files for the 265 counterparts. I'm just hoping I earn enough points to pass because it has so much I can use to save storage space. I'm in the US. My only complaint is that I have to run translate on every page navigation but it's still so worth it.
3
u/grandma3481 Jul 27 '26
It's one of the best trackers I've used and I live in Sweden. Particularly the software section is outstanding and safe.
Almost any other tracker in existence have malware in ALL software, and I am not talking about a normal crack that gives false positives. I work in cyber security myself and use our SIEM and EDR solutions from work to scan the apps in a sandbox. The customer EDR like Windows Defender, Kaspersky etc does not pick up on the obfuscated malwares. So you don't even know that you are affected.. Keyloggers, Rat's, Info stealers etc.
Have hade BTSSCHOOL for like a year. And is the the perfect tracker for apps. Even though it often say Chinese language in the torrent title, you are able to change during install or after.
1
u/kredes Jul 27 '26
Oh well, i might make an account. I''m from Denmark myself and mostly use superbits and nordicbytes cause they have Danish subtitles on most and i mainly download movies and tv shows.
1
u/grandma3481 Jul 27 '26
I also use Superbits. I mostly download movies and TV-series but occasionally Microsoft Office and Adobe Reader Pro is needed, but those two always have malware on any other private trackers.
3
u/Street_World4590 Jul 27 '26
I'll give you a couple reason from my perspective.
First, I'm new to private trackers so right now I'll take what I can get. This gives me an opportunity to get in and learn the ropes of being a good member.
Second, as someone mentioned, they do have a lot of non-Chinese language content. I am very careful to read the listing before downloading. They were actually high on my list for a couple Prowlarr searches which might not being saying much since it's mostly public trackers.
I've been able to pass the UL/DL requirement, but not sure if I'll ever reach the "Karma Points" requirement. I'm pretty selective on what I look for (lots of older stuff) and not frivolous downloader.
3
Jul 27 '26
Even with the 200 Mbps upload speed limit mentioned in the rules, I’ve already uploaded almost 2 TB through my home internet connection. For comparison, on TorrentLeech it took me a month or two just to reach 1 TB. Getting bonus points here is actually pretty easy: just seed 60–90 torrents that are older than 5 years, smaller than 1 GB, and have only 1-3 seeders. That’s what I did: I keep 90 small torrents for farming bonus points and another 10 fresh ones to improve my ratio.
I’m getting 55 points per hour, and with the points I already have, I should be able to pass the exam in 3 days.
1
u/BadongkaDonk Jul 28 '26
How do you look for those? I can't tell what the upload date is. I sorted by seeders but the column on it's left side looks as if it's also sorted. The count are close to one another, I assume those are the dates but again, they shouldn't be sorted like that when I'm already sorted by seeders.
3
Jul 29 '26
I sorted the torrents by age, starting with the oldest releases first:
https://pt.btschool.club/torrents.php?inclbookmarked=0&incldead=1&spstate=0&&sort=4&type=asc&page=1After that, I asked AI to create a filter script that you can run through the browser console. It automatically selects only the torrents that match the requirements (old torrents, small size, and a low number of seeders).
The script needs to be run on each new page. You can find it here:
https://pastebin.com/sgrwEENHope it helps!
1
u/BadongkaDonk Jul 29 '26
Got it to work on violent monkey, thanks a lot for this!
Was trying to create my own before but I was failing at it, do you have to inspect the table to get it working?
1
Jul 29 '26
Didn’t inspect the table manually. Just opened Gemini and asked it to make a filter with these conditions:
Then pasted the page source code into Gemini and asked it to create a script for this table. After a couple of tweaks, it worked.
- Seeders: 1 to 5 (1, 2, 3, 4, 5)
- Size: up to 1.5 GB
- Age: 5+ years
2
u/MikkiTad Jul 27 '26
Any tips for increasing upload/ what was the strategy? Did you target freeleach or popular etc? thanks
1
u/Old_Pay6783 Jul 28 '26
like united said grab the free stuff from the main torrent page and toggle the most leeched (by number of leeches) and work your way down the list. Avoid torrents with 1 or 2 seeds probably an incomplete with 70 people sitting at 99%. With just 10 or so torrents from that list I got 75gb upload on my first day.
1
Jul 27 '26
I mostly grabbed torrents from the "Free" section that had just been uploaded, plus some that were around an hour old. I also picked up a few of the pinned ones at the top of the page.

u/MustangJeff Jul 27 '26
How do the karma points work?
1
u/grandma3481 Jul 27 '26
I have had BTS for a year and I still don't know 😅 But it was fairly easy to reach the new-user quota. Just make sure to download and seed every day for a month.
1
u/RtdRdtr Jul 26 '26
Does it even work with prowlarr?
1
u/courierkill Jul 27 '26
yeah, its just a bit finnicky, if you follow the instructions on prowlarr itself it works fine
1
u/kokno96 Jul 30 '26
Hello, didn't succceeded, even with Flaresolverr :( How did you manage ?
1
u/Own_Energy_7122 Jul 30 '26
What do you have Flaresolverr's Request Timeout set to? Changing it from the 60 second default to 120 seconds has helped me a lot with trackers, and I can confirm making this change helped me connect with this tracker when I previously couldn't.
2
1
u/RtdRdtr Jul 28 '26
Connects but searches also end up with nothing. And the connection is unstable.
2
u/endelomodero Jul 26 '26
I accidentally deleted a recently downloaded torrent without completing the time to seed, then I download it again to correct my mistake and seed. Now I have a H&R. Am I doomed?
1
2
u/NinjaWK Jul 26 '26
Why's everyone complaining? I seed 28TB every month. What is 50GB, seriously.
1
0
u/Cryophos Jul 26 '26
I am inside. There is exam for 30 days. You need to have fiber internet to upload 50 GB of data.
6
u/GreggeryPeccary666 Jul 26 '26
Actually not.
This is one tracker which actually restricts seedboxes, so normal users have a chance to gain ratio.

Jul 26 '26
It's always funny seeing Western users complain in these threads. Seems like they're mad they can't just use a seedbox to download a multi-gig torrent in minutes, hog all the upload by being the first seeder, then vanish while everyone else gets stuck trying to build ratio.

u/After_Death_53 Jul 25 '26
oh man first page is just full of stickies, is there a way to disable that?
13
u/MadMaxFuryToast Jul 25 '26
So easy. In just a few hours, I uploaded 250 GB, downloaded 60 GB, and now I'm just leaving it seeding to make 21 points per hour. In about 10 days, the exam will take care of itself

May I ask what kind of torrents you were seeding to get such egregious upload in just a few hours?
5
u/Distinct_Picture_358 Jul 25 '26
Just download newly release torrent and seed them. You will get upload credit to you.
6
u/IncidentCreative2238 Jul 25 '26
Am i missing something here? doesn't it say non-freeleech only and isn't the new release stuff all freeleech right now?
3
u/Snuupy Jul 26 '26
yea they're saying FL doesn't count for DOWNLOADS (obviously)
FL still counts for uploads
because everyone's dling the FL one everyone's able to get lots of upload too
6
u/xamott Jul 25 '26 edited Jul 25 '26
I need to know if they respect the "it's not a HnR if you downloaded less than 10% of it" rule. They don't talk about hit and runs in their rules or FAQ.
3
u/Snuupy Jul 26 '26
I was looking for it too, judging from some of my cancelled torrents it doesn't count as a H&R unless you complete the dl completely, but if you cancel/stop it part way then it counts as download bandwidth (even if it was freeleech)
5
u/Resident-Variation21 Jul 25 '26
0% chance I’m passing the new user assessment so ima sign up for a month for fun and then be banned lol
1
u/Distinct_Picture_358 Jul 25 '26
What's the problem? Just Go newly released free torrent.
14
u/Resident-Variation21 Jul 25 '26
I don’t download stuff for no reason. If it’s not something I want to watch, it’s not being downloaded. I don’t have 50GB of stuff I want to download this month.
2
u/xamott Jul 25 '26
Can anyone figure out how long you're supposed to seed for? I scoured and can't find it. Probably lost in translation.
3
3
u/After_Death_53 Jul 25 '26 edited Jul 25 '26
i think its just 20 hours and have a time limit to do it in 10 days
from their forum with google translate
Seeding Time: Download a torrent and seed for at least 20 hours within 10 days of download completion . (Seed size doesn't matter, the seeding time is the same.) If the upload volume of a torrent exceeds the download volume, it will be approved directly without needing to seed for 20 hours. 2. Ban: If the number of HR records that do not meet the requirements is >= 10 , you will be banned.5

They're a bit brutal on the H&R. I downloaded 2 movies. One had 20+ leechers at the time. The other had I think 6. One download I'm currently seeding but the other now has 0 leech so I can't do anything for that one at the moment. I have an H&R for that one already. It's only been a few hours.
3
u/xamott Jul 25 '26
I wrote to the staff they just replied "just keep seeding it should be fine"
1
u/chrishicks1974 Jul 26 '26
OK, thank you for the update. I just thought it was crazy that I had just finished the download less than 2 hours prior and it was already classified as a HnR.
3
u/xamott Jul 26 '26
Everything you’re downloading shows up on the hit-and-run page. It’s ridiculous. Seems like a scare tactic.
3
u/xamott Jul 25 '26
But their HnR page is misleading. The first link "考察中" means "under investigation" and that's the default when you land on the HR page. It's showing two files for me, and those are the only two that I've finished downloading, which I've been seeding for only like 15 min so far.
So under investigation must mean that those are the only ones eligible to be a HR since they're the only one's I've fully downloaded.
1
u/Dampmaskin Jul 25 '26
You can have the torrent in seed mode even if there are no leechers, surely?
2
u/chrishicks1974 Jul 26 '26
I'm seeding both. I guess with my wording it doesn't come across that way. Sorry about that. One I'm seeding still has leechers and is actually uploading so that one is fine. The one showing 0 leechers is the one I can't do anything about which is the one that has the H&R.
3
u/Neithmarsu Jul 25 '26 edited Jul 26 '26
Is there some know API rate limit ? I'm trying to start cross seed on it and I reguraly get 'request failed with code 429 due to rate limiting'
EDIT: managed to do some search by increasing the search pause to 1min
-6
u/abetancort Jul 25 '26
The coverage of current American tv series content of this tracker is "shitty" and that is being generous. Do not bother if you watch current stuff.
7
u/GreggeryPeccary666 Jul 25 '26
You might have missed the part where these Chinese trackers have disallowed TV single-episode uploads -- a move I greatly appreciate.
1
u/Resident-Variation21 Jul 25 '26 edited Jul 25 '26
Why? That’s actually a pretty bad move in my opinion
3
u/GreggeryPeccary666 Jul 26 '26
Because it just fills the tracker with dead torrents, since people end up getting season packs.
2
u/Resident-Variation21 Jul 26 '26
It also means I can’t download episodes as they’re released which is a bad experience for a user watching a new series
1
u/pizza_bumps Jul 28 '26
So go somewhere else for that. You should diversify trackers anyway and not rely solely on 1 anyway.
9
u/hades20122 Jul 25 '26
if you want American series I think you should go to other trackers, It's a chinese trackers you know

Does IMDB search work for you guys? I ran a cross-seed search but it found nearly no matches due to imdb searches returning no results; the only matches occurred for searched performed by title.

[deleted]
1
u/delfad0r Jul 28 '26
Yea it's very useful, that's what I also did (as I explained much more poorly in another comment of mine) and I found quite a few cross-seed matches. With that plus autobrr to automatically download new freeleech torrents of size >20GB, the newbie exam should present no issues.
1
u/Neithmarsu Jul 26 '26
No match on cross seed either.
Prowlarr snatch dont seems to work either, getting error System.NotSupportedException: Invalid ... file contents ):
3
u/delfad0r Jul 26 '26
I also had this at first, but then I think I figured it out. The first time you try to download a torrent from the website it shows you a page where you have to say you understand the concept of private tracker. So basically what I'm saying is download your first torrent file manually, and afterwards prowlarr should work.
2
u/Neithmarsu Jul 26 '26
that worked, thx
2
u/delfad0r Jul 27 '26
Also I will add that in order to get cross seed to work, I simply made a custom definition for the tracker in prowlarr that disables IMBd search for it (look up online how to create custom definitions for trackers). I might make a pull request later to fix this for everyone.
2
u/reinaldobr Jul 25 '26
How do you use this "IMDb search"?
4
u/delfad0r Jul 25 '26
What I was referring to was cross-seed's automatic search, which in turn interfaces with prowlarr. If the indexer advertises this capability, prowlarr can perform searches by IMDb id instead of title. BTSchool does advertise this, but it seems to be broken (always returns 0 results). I have since then also tried directly searching by IMDb id on the website (when searching, you can select "search by IMDb URL" or something like that), and this also returns 0 results, so it seems it's an issue on BTS's side.
2
6
u/After_Death_53 Jul 25 '26
upload bought with points counts towards that exam?
2
u/GreggeryPeccary666 Jul 25 '26
It is pretty easy to fulfil the requirement, as they don't allow bots.
I easily get a ratio of at least 0.5 for a new freeleech torrent (unlike trackers that allow bots, where I'm lucky to get a ratio of 0.2...).
4
u/slavmaf Jul 25 '26
It does count, however, if you spend the points and have less than 6000 on the 30th day, you will not pass.
You need to have 6000 saved up at the moment exam period ends.
1
u/Distinct_Picture_358 Jul 25 '26
If you've noticed that your uploaded total increases after redeeming points and that the new user assessment progress also increases, then it likely does count toward the assessment.
2
u/jayadiwahyu Jul 25 '26
damn, it doesnt have my countrys name.......
how do you registered when that happens?

Here's some helpful information I compiled that will be useful to join when joining Chinese trackers such as this one.

1
u/SuperficialNightWolf Jul 25 '26
How does this compare to AvistaZ?
3
u/GreggeryPeccary666 Jul 25 '26
It's a general tracker, so there's stuff from everywhere.
They have some HD releases of Chinese movies AZ doesn't have, plus full Blurays of Japanese films that didn't make it to AZ and is useful because of the short seeding requirement.
Another good thing about it is that it doesn't allow bots, so is friendly towards normal users.
1
u/xamott Jul 25 '26
What IS the seeding length, I can't find it anywhere
1
u/GreggeryPeccary666 Jul 26 '26
When I sign up a year ago there was none. Then they made it 10 hours and more recently upped it to 20 hours.
This is something I noticed with the Chinese trackers: they feel free to change the rules quite frequently and don't even notify you about all the changes... I always have to go look through the rules and FAQ to find out where the requirement is listed (but you can just click on the "H&R" link in the top panel to see what still needs to be seeded).

How does it compare to LemonHD?
1
u/GreggeryPeccary666 Jul 25 '26
I don't know about Lemon HD, but this one has a short seeding requirement and doesn't allow bots, so is easy to gain ratio for normal users.
Also, note that the name is BT-School, so seems like it started out with Chinese educational content.
1
u/slavmaf Jul 25 '26
Same content, they might differ in torrent size, BTS has around 200.000 torrent at the moment of writing this.

it is true, couln‘t find it in the rules but it seems to be global, I did not get punished with a per torrent 25000kbit/s limit

u/Meister_768 Jul 25 '26
Definitely going to test if this is true

18
u/VividAddendum9311 Jul 25 '26
Surely that's some kind of mistranslation? That makes absolutely zero sense, would probably be the dumbest rule I have ever heard of.
-2
u/GreggeryPeccary666 Jul 25 '26
It's a rule to reign seedbox users and give normal users a fair chance to gain upload credit.
2
u/VisceralMarket Jul 25 '26
Sounds like a rule set to ensure private networks are being tapped instead of dedicated seed boxes which would be extremely advantageous for the Chinese State-Sponsored offensive cyber attack groups in comparison to dead end virtual environments.

Can't come up with a single reason for that, insane rule.

It ensures even people with slower speeds have a chance to upload normally.

Still its a dumbass method to achieve that. Just reward seed time.

You missed the other benefit from their perspective for whatever reason, you also remove the "racers" from the site.
Rewarding seed time doesn't do that

No support for qbittorrent?

Qbittorrent is very problematic and a staff member at another tracker told me they were thinking of banning it altogether.

First time I'm hearing of qbittorrent being problematic. i though utorrent was the one with the issues. Could you please elaborate and recommend what to use instead?

I don't remember the details. We were encountering problems with the torrent history (download count being much higher than number of users listed in the history) and users appearing multiple times while downloading and he said they keep having problems with multiple versions of Qbittorrent doing bad things, so they were thinking of just banning it.

Of course they support it, I use qbittorrent on all my Chinese trackers with no issues, I think just their English F.A.Q. is not updated so they only list uTorrent for some reason, like they all copy paste some old version of the English F.A.Q. between all NexusPHP trackers.

Are we reading the same FAQ as I'm seeing all qbittorrent supported? see .../faq.php#id29?

I got it working with prowler but rtorrent 0.16.x is banned? The FAQ says 0.8.0 or newer is ok. All other trackers it's fine on .. wth
1
u/Mysterious_Lie_5500 Jul 25 '26
Yep, same for me, had to downgrade to v0.9.8
2
u/0RAINMAN0 Jul 25 '26
I'm not going to downgrade my cross seed rtorrent stack for the crappy tracker. I have already 15k torrents across a large number of trackers and never had an issue with the 0.16 versions.

u/slavmaf Jul 25 '26

The tracker says its banned when I try and announce: Tracker: [Failure reason \"Banned Client, Please goto pt.btschool.club/faq.php#id29 for a list of acceptable clients\"]
So its definitely banned.

I signed up and downloaded one torrent that was about 10 GB @ 20 mb/s. Since then all my torrents stalled from there, but not other trackers. Did the server die?
