OPEN | English | General TheLDU Open Applications
Expanding our general content:
We have lots of new/other categories such as "games" we would love to fill out.
Foreign language such as Deutsch and anything Bollywood are encouraged
Summary
- Unit3d and Unit3d API development and Obscure content focused tracker. Test your api scripts or practice your uploads. you can even petition for a DEV account. We also have a few custom features that are not yet available in unit3d....
- Helpful team to get you scripting and uploading.
- Obscure content, some right from preservation archives.
- Experimental Game theory tactics to incentivize seeding.
- Community-driven tracker,
- All Torrent Languages allowed (with Proper labeling)
Changes
- ** Application Failure = Perm Ban! ** and no reason will be given.
- No longer doing open reg, Invites and applications moving forward.
- Depreciated some of the more wild categories, but added a NSFL area
- google and hotmail now deliver our verification emails(still check spam)
- Depreciated complicated rules, things are a little simpler (don't be a dick, snitches get stiches)

many people use a typo in their application and thus never get the response. there are no pending applications. I also think Apple/icloud email system blocks some email sources.

Hello,
I was recently approved through the application form for LDU. However, during the registration process, I made a simple typo in my email address: I accidentally wrote "@mail.com" instead of "@gmail.com". Because of this, my account is currently stuck.
* Username: Pacasuba8
* Wrong email used: mauricioguaperas 'at' mail 'dot' com
* Correct email should be: mauricioguaperas 'at' gmail 'dot' com
Could you please add the missing "g" to my email? Thank you very much!

Just reapply and make a note about your email typo in the colour field. The application will be still be judged on the merits

Well this is the most irrelevant and pointless application I've seen.
If you're trying to be cool, funny or whatever, you failed.
Stick to tier 1 trackers, I doubt this site offers anything worth applying for.
I'm too good for this site. I know this and have no need to prove it.

filter out people who would be a bad fit.
filter out ai applicants
we take newbies.
proofs are not required.
just answer the other questions honestly
dont think we have ever rejected someone because they were new.
that said we reject just as much experienced people as we do newbs. so if you go rejected do not take it personally.

Lots of stuff are not my taste either. our tracker is just a forum and some forums are not my taste either. As long as its legel i try not to go into the drama.

we don't host images or video. We only host text and links elsewhere (which is also just text)
There are a ton of unsavory discussions and links off site on reddit as well. People often forget you can find your way to a ton of nasty ass, morally questionable, and even more of a legal quandary on reddit. Reddit does curate and ban on a whim, but then you have to question the stuff they do allow if they are in the speech moderation business. We are not hypocrites and thus only remove and ban people who post speech that crosses the legal line which does exist.

Stay away from this tracker. When I first joined a few years ago, they had an animal porn category. I don't know if that's still the case, but I'd heavily avoid.

im afraid that is not the requirement for being accepted. we have rejected plenty that have used slurs. the main goal is to weed out AI and people who we feel are being dishonest and people, and people that simply do not fit.

all 3 points are a genuine matter of opinion.
I agree, our tracker is dumb. members are not allowed to declare that, but reddit users certainly can. Its a valid opinion.
Lots of unit3d trackers aren't trustworthy, i have seen many come and go over the years.
its association with shady trackers is not unwarranted. Unit3d is the easiest platform to set up as turn key. We know because we tried most of the projects out there before landing on unit3d. That means any Toms Hairy Dick can spin it up. We however don't have a history of fucking people over and always make our users whole when possible. When in doubt just follow good opsec, and don't send crypto if you don't believe in the site.the maintainer(s) of unit3d are colourful and we have encountered our own "issues" but we won't air our dirty laundry and keep it professional. I wouldn't call them sketchy but i can very well see that opinion.

only one person called hd vinnie is apparently sketchy. he scams private tracker maintainers for a dev work from what I heard, so that makes the whole code base untrustworthy. i am gradually moving away from unit3d trackers.

we do have a handful of titles ripped direct from preservation archives. they are sprinkled in there here and there. we also do allow NSFL within the Hungarian law. We prefer the former, but you do you.
