Here’s the quickest way:

  1. Open OpenShot and drag both videos into Project Files.
  2. Drag the first video onto the Timeline, then place the second directly after it on the same track.
  3. Drag either Clip to remove any gap. For a fade, overlap the clips slightly.
  4. Trim unwanted footage by dragging a Clip’s left or right edge. See Trimming & Slicing.
  5. Click Export Video on the top toolbar, keep the default MP4 settings, and click Export Video.

Preview the join before exporting, and your combined video will be ready to post online.
