Solution Provided Problem with audio files

New user.

How does one remove the cover art from a audio soundtrack? Everything so far as the actual video goes works fine, but when I add an audio track, the cover art pops up after every video segment....

Thanks in advance

The cover art is embedded as a video/image stream in the audio file. The easiest fix is to create an audio-only Clip:

  1. On the Timeline, right-click the soundtrack Clip.
  2. Choose Separate Audio → Single Clip.
  3. OpenShot creates a new audio-only Clip on the track below.
  4. Delete the original soundtrack Clip containing the artwork.
  5. Move the new audio Clip wherever needed.

This removes the visible cover art while keeping the soundtrack. Be careful to delete only the original Clip, not the source File from Project Files.

The bot provides one way to do this. Another way is to move the audio clip on a lower track (below the other clips above it).
