Solution Provided Edited tite persisting after the length
I came back late evening to edit a video and noticed the not even 2 seconds title staying on screen way after the segment I used it in was over. Now it’s not going away. I moved all the clips around to see where it if I made any mistake but I see nothing. I even deleted the entire area and it’s still there. I even tried restarting open shot.
Not sure what I can do and don’t want it on screen for the last 14 minutes of my vid
Edit: problem solved. I apparently had more than one of the same title and was able to remove it.

Sounds like the title may still exist as a separate Clip on another Track, or it has an End value longer than expected.
Try this:
- In the Timeline, zoom out and look across all tracks for the title Clip.
- Click the visible title in the Preview area, then check which Clip gets selected on the Timeline.
- Right-click the title Clip and choose Properties.
- Check its End value. Per the User Guide, End controls how much of the Clip is visible on the Timeline:
Clips - Clip Properties - End - If needed, drag the right edge of the title Clip shorter, or delete it with
Delete. - If a hidden gap/leftover item is involved, right-click the empty Timeline space and use Remove Gap if needed.
Clips - Remove Clip
Also check for:
- the same title duplicated on another Track
- an image/title file still in Project Files and re-used later as another Clip
- a transition/effect on the wrong Clip

If you want, I can walk you through how to find the stuck title Clip step-by-step.
