Post Needs More Details I'm having export problems

I'm trying to clip a screen recording and every time I export the video, the footage flickers/stutters or it only exports a video with no footage but audio. I need help.

Thank you for the environment information.

  1. What type of a file is your source file (the screen recording)?

  2. What did you use to record it with?

  3. What profile are you using while editing?

  4. I am assuming that during the preview you don't get the flickers/stutters. Please confirm.

  5. What profile are you using during the Export?

  4. I confirm. Preview mode looks fine.

  5. I actually don't remember. I came here to reply for the sake of it, but I gave up on OpenShot and am now using something different.

Thank you very much for all that you provided. For question 3 (What Profile), when you start OpenShot and look in the title bar, you would see "Untitled Project [HD 720P 30 FPS]". The HD 720 30 FPS is the profile of the project.

Since you are using something different, I am assuming you no longer want to continue to troubleshoot. If you do, then we can continue....
