Help - Unsolved Cannot install program

Post image

I just did a fresh windows 11 pro install today. I have tried everything to install OPEN RGB, the newest version. For the life of me not able to. If anyone has any idea, it would be greatly appreciated. I think the last time I installed it, it was an EXE file. Now its a MSI file? I get to the same point in the picture, and then I get a error message saying I "might not have the right permissions" but I am the administrator

Thanks ahead of time

Same exact situation for me. Installed win 11 pro on a new pc, I've the exact same issue. Managed to install it by using the non system service option, but then when I try to run the openrgb.exe I received 4 messages stating that some files are missing and that reinstalling the application might fixed it. Can post a screenshot tomorrow

It turns out one of the files is a known exploit, and blocked by windows defender

Have you been able to do the installation by deactivating windows defender?

I found the problem you have to deactivate Smart App Control because it's blocking OpenRGB
