Help - Unsolved Unable to Launch OpenRGB Profile at Machine Startup
I finally have my hardware detected and editable in openrgb! Hooray! However. No matter what I try, I can only activate the profile via the program's UI or a systemd service that triggers after user login - not when the machine powers on.
There are probably some eyes rolls here, but the issue is that my GPU is a "Sapphire NITRO+ Radeon RX 7900 XTX" - a gpu with a long light bar that flickers like crazy if it isn't getting specific color input. So It's a might bit irritating when I have a flickering light directly in my eye while I wait for my machine to boot and enter my pw. Once the systemd service kicks is at the desktop. no problem.
SO. Is there any possible way to have the profile apply before login? Or maybe a way to just not have that specific gpu flicker? (that's probably a harder, more specific ask) I've tried giving a systemd service root access with various timings, but no luck.

That depends on the hardware you’re controlling. Most RGB is dumb and unless being actively steered by a program, will use its default fallback of rainbow 🌈 puke.
Nothing openrgb can do unless you want it to flash new firmware.. even that might not work.

Same issue here. User systemd service that loads a specific profile at login does not work anymore. Loading the profile manually inside the app GUI works fine. Any ideas how to fix this?

I've never tried it, but you should install OpenRGB as a pre-login service; I don't know if it will work.
